Vault City × Hard Lines

Vault City × Hard Lines

Everyone was thirsty for this one!

We’ll never turn down the chance to create something tasty, so we knew exactly what to do when Vault City got in touch to discuss a collaboration…

Vault City, an independent craft brewery based in Edinburgh, is passionate about accessible yet adventurous flavours. The idea was to collaborate on creating some interesting and exciting combinations for their Crema Imperial Stout series.

And so, after some sampling, two bold, indulgent beers were brewed.

The Salted Caramel Imperial Stout features one of our favourite Peruvian coffees from farmer Roger Chilcon. This coffee perfectly balances the sweet saltiness of the caramel with its dark fruit and nutty profile. It is an intricate flavour combo that keeps you coming back for more.

The Vanilla stout sees our faithful House Party mingling with vanilla pods from Madagascar, Uganda and Papua New Guinea. Our most popular brew, House Party  is a rich Brazilian coffee that perfectly compliments the creamy vanilla, resulting in a velvety smooth, satisfying mouthful reminiscent of a decadent dessert.

"Zero disappointment, they slap pretty hard!"

These nuanced blends transform traditional stout into rich, decadent beverages that satisfy both the coffee and the stout enthusiast. The results are comforting as well as luxurious - these cans did not last long on our shelves! And the feedback, following their rapid consumption, has been highly positive.

Designing the cans to showcase our brand was also enjoyable. Seeing them lined up in-store next to our coffee offering was a joy. An aesthetically pleasing item goes a long way for us, and we couldn't be happier with the finished result.

These industry crossovers are fun, and this collaboration truly celebrates the artistry of coffee and beer.
