Dear Customers & Friends,

Due to tightening of rules and regulations we are, for 2018, unable to participate in Record Store Day.

We pride ourselves on championing all things vinyl, keeping the racks stocked with new releases and reissues of everything from new music to classics; major labels alongside indie and local micro labels. So needless to say we’re pretty gutted about ERA and the Record Store Day board’s decision to exclude us from this event.

We are disappointed that as members of ERA, that we and many stores like us are being treated as outsiders. Especially in Wales where there are a limited number of record shops to begin with; leaving just 1 location in Cardiff able to trade as a part of RSD18.

Nevertheless on Saturday April 21st, we will be open, selling records and brewing coffee; like always. We sadly won’t be stocking any of the limited releases. We will however be having a right old good time with bargains, brunch, coffee and a licensed bar!

We wish the best of luck to the teams at Spillers, Diverse, VOD, Tangled Parrot, Friendly & all the rest!

Yours sincerely,

The “shop that sells records but is not a record shop
